Zmijanje embroidery incorporates respect for diversity, creativity and non-verbal communication. Respecting the tradition is a significant thing for the poster design. By using the main characteristic of traditional the Zmijanje embroidery element, including a deep blue thread to embroider improvised geometrical shapes. This project may enhance the traditional practice with the possibilities of modern ways to communicate.

City of hours

City of Hours is a project designed as part of the Urban Agenda Exhibition 2018. The visual representation of time is presented through a series of hour glasses that are designed with a twist. These artefacts express the way time is spent in the urban cities like Singapore and Seoul.

The work was exhibited in Urban Agenda 2018 in Seoul, South Korea in collaboration with in Sangmyung University.

The arts scene in Singapore is buzzing, what with Sonny Liew’s haul at the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards for his graphic novel The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye. Many are excited about what this could mean for the local illustration community that has been blooming steadily since the Organisation of Illustrators Council (OIC) was formed in 2006. Through their concerted efforts, Singapore’s skilled illustrators are receiving more attention than ever.
