Kumpulan Akitek Scholarship

The Kumpulan Akitek Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship created to encourage young talents in the arts and creative industries.

Eligibility
  • Singapore citizens.
  • Gross monthly per capita income (PCI) of S$1,500 and below.
  • Applicants must have been offered a place in a full-time programme for the August 2023 intake.
  • Non-recipients of any other scholarships/bursaries/financial aid awarded by external organisations.
Assessment criteria
  • Strong academic records and portfolio/audition.
  • Strong performance, track record and/or relevant experience in chosen art discipline.
  • Demonstrate engagement in chosen discipline with activities outside of coursework, such as participation and/or achievements in external performances/exhibitions.
Value and tenure

Up to a maximum of S$5,000 for one academic year.

Based on students’ financial needs and good academic performance with a grade average of at least 70 for each level of study, renewal of this scholarship is reviewed on a yearly basis and covers up to a maximum of three (3) years or the minimum duration required to complete the course, whichever is shorter.

Application is open from 1 Mar – 15 May 2023 for new students.
