CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMME

Discover the arts as a lifelong learner

LASALLE’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP) is designed for learners of all ages and abilities – from students to working professionals to seniors – to allow you to discover, learn and be inspired by the arts and design.

The purpose of CEP is to introduce you to new fields of interest and provide an enriching learning experience with no assessments to fret over. Taught by instructors who include full-time faculty members from LASALLE as well as industry professionals and practitioners experienced in arts education, courses are offered at convenient times and conducted in person or online.

Most of LASALLE’s CEP courses are funded by SkillsFuture, with many supported by the National Silver Academy. Whatever your age or interest areas, a wide array of courses awaits you. So start your learning journey and join a community of lifelong learners today.

Important notice

With effect from 1 January 2024, all invoices issued and fees collected by LASALLE will be subject to the prevailing 9% Goods and Services Tax (GST). All fees indicated on the Short Courses pages will be exclusive of GST and application fees.

Short courses

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at drawing or painting? Perhaps hone your photography skills? Or delve into art history? LASALLE’s wide range of Short Courses is designed for those without an arts background and who are interested to learn more about the arts or design.

Courses are conducted on weeknights or weekends for the convenience of working professionals, in person or online. Most of our Short Courses are approved for SkillsFuture funding, and many qualify for National Silver Academy funding.

Taster courses

Wondering about which Short Course to take up? LASALLE’s new Taster Courses let you try out a Short Course with a three-hour standalone session, so you can decide whether to pursue the full course. Taster Courses are taught by LASALLE lecturers and industry experts, so you can expect the same high quality of instruction as in a regular Short Course.

Youth courses

Youth Courses are specially designed for teen learners aged 15 – 18 who are keen to explore the arts or design. Whether it’s to discover a talent, cultivate creativity or pursue an interest, pick from a wide range of courses popular with teens including animation, graphic design, acting, music and more. Classes are usually run during school holidays.

Training and customised courses
