MA Arts and Cultural Leadership
Why study arts and cultural leadership?

Programme Leader Audrey Wong – cultural policy expert, civil society advocate, arts and cultural scholar and the first Nominated Member of Parliament for the arts – has nurtured numerous arts managers and cultural leaders. At this talk, she will share the programme's take on cultural leadership and why good leadership in arts and culture is essential in today's complex world.

MA Creative Writing
Why study creative writing?

Programme Leader Dr Rosslyn Prosser is an academic and writer who publishes in a range of forms and genres and has taught creative writing, literary studies, media and communications and gender studies in Australian universities for over 20 years. She will share more about the MA Creative Writing programme which is the first of its kind in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Join Programme Leader Dr Woo Yen Yen, an innovative educator and cultural designer, as she provides a map of the programme’s goals, structure and curriculum. You will get a sense of the research and practice, workload, culture, as well as the peers that form each carefully selected cohort. Most of all, you will get an insight into what the programme can do for the growth of your practice and teaching.

Is art therapy a career for me?

The MA Art Therapy programme welcomes you to engage in a unique dialogue with art therapy professionals and students. Programme Leader Ronald P.M.H. Lay (MA, AThS-HF, AThR, ATR-BC) will discuss the pragmatics of this globally-situated postgraduate art therapy training, showcase our arts-based community involvement and address your questions.

Sustainability now: putting arts in the centre of ecology

Head, McNally School of Fine Arts Dr Cissie Fu will introduce this new, innovative and transdisciplinary studio-based programme that brings together creative practitioners, thinkers and planners across the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences to explore critical discourses on the environment and critical action in communities through collective inquiry, compelling storytelling and contemporary art-making.

MA Music Therapy
The healing power of music

Music improves mental health and well-being, and with training on the new MA Music Therapy programme, students with functional music skills can learn how to use it to bring benefits to their clients. Programme Leader Dr Indra V. Selvarajah will introduce the programme features of this important new MA and outline requirements for entry.
