Information For Graduands

Academic Gown

After registering your attendance for the Convocation, you will receive a confirmation email within five (5) working days with a link and password to reserve your academic gown. 

Please contact convocation@lasalle.edu.sg if you do not receive an email confirmation within five (5) working days.

All graduands attending the Convocation are required to wear academic gowns. Only those who have registered their attendance and reserved an academic gown will be issued one. Be sure to register by 12 July 2019.

LASALLE has appointed Creative District Pte Ltd to be the official photographer and gown hirer for LASALLE Convocation 2019.

Gown Deposit And Rental Charges

Please pay the gown deposit and rental in cash to Creative District when you collect your academic gown. 

Gown Rental S$53.50 (non-refundable, includes 7% GST)
Deposit (Diploma) S$150.00 (Cash only, fully refunded upon return of gown in good condition)
Deposit (BA(Hons) & MA) S$200.00 (Cash only, fully refunded upon return of gown in good condition)

NETS/Credit Card payments will be subjected to GST.
Any gown that is unreturned by the deadline or is damaged will result in the deposit being forfeited.

Please collect and return your academic gown according to the schedule provided below. Graduands who have not registered their attendance for the Convocation will not be issued an academic gown.

To avoid long queues and waiting time, please adhere to your allocated gown collection dates and times.

Unable to Collect Gown in Person?

You may authorise and nominate a representative to collect on your behalf. He/she must bring a letter of authorisation signed by yourself, your Student ID and his/her NRIC/passport for verification.

Dress Code

Graduands attending the Convocation must be properly attired as befitting the occasion.

Male Graduands: Dark long pants and light-coloured shirt with tie.

Female Graduands: Light coloured blouse with dark skirt or pants. 

In view of the formality of the occasion and safety concerns when walking up ramps or stairs to and from the stage, please wear appropriate footwear that you can walk comfortably in.

The following attires are deemed to be unacceptable at the Convocation: Jeans, t-shirts, baseball caps, shorts, slippers, singlets/tank tops, sneakers, flipflops, clogs, sandals, or stilettos.
