Interdisciplinary and industry collaboration: dance, fashion and visual arts

Charles is a lecturer of LASALLE’s School of Fashion, and an award-winning Creative & Image director at C+C&Co, which specialises in branding, image making and design intelligence. Notable clients and collaborators include Citizen Watch, Marks & Spencer, G-star Raw Singapore, Allies of Skin, ISEAS (Institute of Southeast Asian Studies), TaFF (Textile and Fashion Federation), Singpost, TianPo, Ling Wu, Max Tan, Gnome & Bow, Pauline Ning, Acer, The Lo & Behold Group and Parco next NEXT designers.

Daniela Monasterios Tan is an accomplished fashion researcher and curator, specialising in the cultural and social significance of fashion. With a background in Fashion Curation studies from the London College of Fashion, she has gained valuable experience supporting curators and archivists in research and costume mounting. Her contributions have been featured in prestigious institutions such as The Barbican, Frida Kahlo Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, the Palais Galliera and Westminster University Menswear Archive.

Ginette Chittick’s personal interest in the correlation between visuals, music, and fashion prompted her to pursue an MA in Design, exploring the intertextuality of these art forms.

Before embarking on a fulfilling academic career, Ginette worked as a web consultant on projects for a vast range of high-profile clients which included Coca-Cola, HSBC, Citibank, PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consultants, The Substation, Discovery Channel, IDA Singapore, Aon Asia and Aware Singapore.

Circe Henestrosa

Dr Circe Henestrosa is a fashion curator. Her research looks at tangible and intangible heritage to develop new design languages. In particular, she is interested in looking at heritage as a medium to develop cultural enterprises in fashion. Her curatorial practice explores how garments and material culture inform and reflect social-cultural aspects of fashion within the exhibition context.
