Exhibitionnospacefortomorrow articulates and amplifies the immediacy and urgency of the here and now. To be in the moment is to be of the moment and face the many cultures and concerns that compose and complicate space and time. To be in the moment also comes with an imperative to make the most of this moment, such that artistic praxis can refract and configure present places and experiences at the speed of imagination.
In this inaugural graduation showcase for the first cohort of students graduating with a University of the Arts Singapore-conferred degree, eight artists present their respective year-long practice-driven research projects. The works chart current interdisciplinary contemporary art-making from LASALLE’s MA Fine Arts programme—the College’s founding postgraduate programme—as well as the newly-launched MA Arts and Ecology programme.
