The Business Times: Performing arts in a high-tech, post-pandemic world

The Covid-19 pandemic forced the performing arts industry to explore new ways of artistic expression, with many artists turning to technology to overcome the challenges posed by closed borders and shuttered performance venues. While the pandemic caused immense disruption to the industry, it also opened up exciting opportunities for hybrid and digital workarounds and innovative practices that I believe are worth sustaining.

BERITAmediacorp: LASALLE College of the Arts’ Rock and Indie Festival (RIF) 2023

The sixth edition of the Rock and Indie Festival (RIF) 2023 at LASALLE College of the Arts will run for two nights on Feb 10 and Feb 11, promising a mesmerising and entertaining show.

The performances will be held at two locations at LASALLE’s McNally Campus, namely the Campus Green and the Flexible Performance Space.

Harper’s Bazaar: NewGen 2021 Winner Justin Chua On Life At Istituto Marangoni London

In 2021, Justin Chua clinched the top prize at Harper’s BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Award with his clear vision, aesthetic sensibility and commitment to craft. The LASALLE College of the Arts alum, who impressed with a two‐piece nylon and taffeta ensemble with transformative aspects, took home a $10,000 cash prize as well as a scholarship for a Masters degree at the Istituto Marangoni.
