SGFASHIONNOW, a collaboration between LASALLE and the Asian Civilisations Museum, returned this year for its third and largest iteration in Busan and Seoul. This year’s exhibition travels to South Korea for the first time and showcases 27 local designers, bringing the creativity and diversity of Singapore’s contemporary fashion industry to a Korean audience.

Singapore is a highly planned society: from the economy, housing, urban space and transport, to even the arts and cultural sector. In 1989, the watershed report of the Advisory Council on Culture and Arts noted the potential of arts and culture to contribute to tourism and our economy.
