To gain a deeper understanding of art therapy, Lianhe Zaobao interviewed three graduands of the MA Art Therapy Programme from LASALLE College of the Arts — Eliza Han, Tan Janice and Sarah Amor Oh Wen Ling. They shared with Lianhe Zaobao why they chose to pursue this MA and how it provided deeper meaning to the fields they were already working in, from education to dance and fitness.

"The minute I stepped into LASALLE College of the Arts’ graduate fashion show 2022, I was transported into another world," writes Dhiya Bisyarah for Vogue. "Held at LASALLE's Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, Earl Lu Gallery, the unblemished, white venue mirrored an abundance of creative possibilities."

The walls, pillars and floors of the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station bear the creations of Milenko and his wife at the start of the millennium. This abstract work has a Byzantine mosaic style as well as elements of oriental porcelain, demonstrating the fusion of cultures. Having lived in Southeast Asia for decades, Milenko's artistic journey differs much from those of traditional European artists.

A student from the BA(Hons) Fashion Design and Textiles Class of 2022, Li Wentong’s graduate collection, Shan(缮), is an ode to her childhood memories and a deft display of her artful experimentation with details and organic and natural materials that are partly dyed with seeds and flowers.
