The 2020 edition of The LASALLE Show returns this year after being held back by the COVID-19 pandemic. Showcasing works of students from Fine Arts, Film, Media Arts, Dance, Music, Theatre and Art Therapy, the exhibition is a celebration of the resilience of the Class of 2020 and marks the transformation of these young talents into industry-ready creative leaders.

At LASALLE College of the Arts' 33rd Convocation on 30 August 2019, Mr S Iswaran, Minister for Communications and Information, announced a suite of new training programmes in the media sector to benefit media graduates and professionals.

Since its inception in 2015, the National Youth Film Awards has been a platform for industry partners and Institutes of Higher Learning to nurture young media talents. Every year, LASALLE students are encouraged to submit their final year works to gain exposure (and hopefully recognition) as well as learn from their peers.

Mr S Iswaran, Minister for Communications and Information, announced various new initiatives by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) at LASALLE’s 33rd Convocation. Two of which – the Script to Screen programme, and the David Puttnam’s ProducersLab programme – will be delivered in partnership with LASALLE, and aims to better nurture media students and budding professionals.
