Media Lab
LASALLE’s Media Lab is a practice-oriented and studio-based environment concerned with research as well as creation of artifacts and prototypes involving computational design, physical computing and digital fabrication. Hosted under the Faculty of Media Arts, it is primarily interested in investigating the potential of using technology in a visual and spatial arts context.
With a strong interdisciplinary approach and collaborations with other disciplines such as Music, Theatre, Dance or Fine Arts, the lab aims to expand the use of technology into various other forms of artistic expressions. It is a playground for using technology in various artistic contexts on different levels, including leading and supporting roles.
