While Nuryn Adryana Binte Abdul Halim was a student in the BA(Hons) Film programme, she acted as the director, writer and producer for the short film, Duka Lara, which made its world premiere at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival DokuFest held in Kosovo. The film tells the story of a fisherman who faces loneliness while living on a fish farm until a mystery occurs.
Tamil Murasu: Niranjan desires to travel the world
BA(Hons) Music graduate Niranjan Pandian grew up surrounded by music, and developed a passion for music at an early age. He realised the greatness of the flute through his guru Dr Ghanavenothan Retnam. Mixing both Indian and Indo jazz music, Niranjan has composed various songs and performed at events after learning to play both the Indian and western flute. BA(Hons) Animation Art alumna Calleen Koh is the only Singaporean whose short film, To Kill The Birds and the Bees, was nominated for the Yugo BAFTA Student Awards this year.
