Tell us a little about yourself – which country do you come from and how did you come into the teaching profession?

I grew up in Mexico City, surrounded by amazing art and a very rich culture. My father was an editor and my mum was a fashion journalist. I was exposed to museums since I was very little and my mum owned a wonderful art collection, which was displayed at our house. While she could not afford very expensive pieces of art she still managed to acquire works by great Mexican artists such as Diego Rivera, Francisco Toledo, and Rufino Tamayo.

Tell us a little about yourself – which country do you originate and how did you come to pursue the arts?

I was born in Romania (Eastern Europe). Before pursuing a career in the "realm" of visual expression, I studied, graduated and practised in the field of Pharmacy.
