Panel of BA (Hons) Arts Management alumni:
Why did you choose LASALLE's MA Arts Pedagogy and Practice programme?
I chose it because of the unique opportunity to learn from and with other fellow teaching artists from different art forms and disciplines. I also wanted an opportunity to think about my craft deeply from an educator's perspective and gain more knowledge to further develop this aspect of my practice.
Earlier in November, Year 2 and 3 BA (Hons) Arts Management students from LASALLE boarded a plane to Busan. But rather than fleeing a zombie apocalypse, Lim Yan Bing, Carla Castle, Angelina Ang and Lionel Fong were instead representing Singapore in the finals of the ASEAN-ROK Youth Metaverse Idea Contest focusing on cultural heritage.
Even prior to pursuing her studies in art therapy, Nicole Yeo was passionate about working with vulnerable communities. As an undergraduate pursuing a BA in English, she hoped to provide platforms for vulnerable communities to share their narratives through stories, embarking on a final year project that looked into how trauma was represented through art.

LASALLE’s new MA Music Therapy programme is a response to the growing recognition of the important contribution music therapy can make to enabling people to tackle the challenges and difficulties they are facing and live fulfilled and resilient lives.
Like many applicants to LASALLE’s MA Art Therapy programme, Javeus Toh’s interest in the therapeutic power of the arts arose from personal circumstances. He had graduated with a BA (Hons) Film degree from the Puttnam School of Film and Animation in LASALLE in 2018.
The Faculty of Fine Arts, Media & Creative Industries is hosting an exclusive evening with writer and academic Intan Paramaditha, featuring a reading and Q&A session.
Intan Paramaditha's novel The Wandering (Harvill Secker/Penguin Random House UK), translated from the Indonesian language by Stephen J. Epstein, was nominated for the Stella Prize in Australia and awarded the Tempo Best Literary Fiction in Indonesia, English PEN Translates Award, and PEN/ Heim Translation Fund Grant from PEN America.
In October 2023, six LASALLE MA Creative Writing students travelled with Programme Leader Dr Rosslyn Prosser to the world-renowned Ubud Writers & Readers Festival in Bali, Indonesia.
