Lianhe Zaobao: Electronic waste becoming artwork–skilful hands transform waste into treasure

Earlier this year, LASALLE’s Diploma in Fine Arts programme collaborated with ALBA, an e-waste collection and recycling organisation, where nine students were challenged to create artwork using recycled electronic components and cables. 

Lianhe Zaobao speaks with two students involved in the project—Lee Jie Yee and Casimia Wee Jyen—to learn more about how the experience has changed their perspective on waste and art.
