Using vintage toys as inspiration, 90 students from LASALLE’s Animation programmes spent one day sketching at the MINT Museum of Toys.
In a race against the clock, they then turned these sketches into 10 seconds of dynamic 2D animation within 24 hours over two days. The resulting animations were displayed at the MINT Museum of Toys in an new exhibition, Toys in Animation, alongside the toys that inspired the original sketches. Each animation interpreted the story of selected toys in a different, innovative way that showcased the imagination of LASALLE students.
