The Animation Archiving Project is a three-year research project (2017-2019) funded by Niigata University, Japan Foundation Asia Centre and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science’s Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Kakenhi project number: 17K02356).

This symposium seeks to provide a platform for networking and exchanging of expertise to facilitate transnational and interdisciplinary approaches to creative contents among academics, student creators, curators, librarians, collectors and industry personnel.

The tongkol protocol: A cooking show and discussion with Salamah Buksen and Khairuddin Hori

Join Zaki Razak’s mother Salamah Buksen for a cooking demonstration, where she will prepare her family recipe for semur tongkol. Composed of rice, fish and gravy, semur tongkol is a popular dish among the Singapore Baweanese community from which Zaki’s family is from. After the demonstration, Zaki and curator Khairuddin Hori will discuss themes of his exhibition at ICA Singapore. Lunch is provided!
