Earlier this year, the Puttnam School of Film & Animation welcomed award-winning Southeast Asian filmmaker Amanda Nell Eu as its Artist in Residence, fresh off the Netflix premiere of her debut feature film Tiger Stripes, a Cannes Critics’ Week Grand Prize winner. It was later selected as Malaysia’s official entry for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.
TWO 2 SIX is an ephemeral exhibition at LASALLE's McNally Campus that is organised every year on one day only from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
The LASALLE Show is an annual vibrant showcase of the best and brightest works in contemporary arts, design and performance. A celebration of the graduating cohort’s creativity and boundless imagination.
This year’s graduating films showcase the best fiction and documentary narratives from LASALLE’s BA (Hons) Film programme. AVANT Premiere is a celebration of a multitude of stories ranging from a wide spectrum of landscapes, people and emotions.
LASALLE College of the Arts (LASALLE) and Mediacorp have pledged to collaborate on developing a range of initiatives that aim to nurture future media professionals and smooth their entry into the workforce upon graduation. The partnership was formalised today with the inking of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by Professor Steve Dixon, President of LASALLE, and Ms Tham Loke Kheng, CEO of Mediacorp.
The MOU will pave the way for a suite of student engagement programmes and activities to be carried out over a three-year period.

In animator and visual artist Jeff Hong’s works, familiar fairy tale characters find themselves in disenchanting situations. The little mermaid, for instance, flops onto a beach, fins covered in crude oil in an oil slick. Meanwhile, Belle, from Beauty in the Beast, attends a plastic surgery consultation and is told to change just about everything on her face.
Experience the magic of film and animation by catching a sneak preview of the multi-award winning films produced by students from the Puttnam School of Film & Animation.
