Romny currently lives in Australia, where she works primarily with school leavers and adults with varying physical and cognitive disabilities; and in private practice with young adults, focusing on grief and attachment disruption.
She was part of the Australia and New Zealand Arts Therapy Association's (ANZATA) organising sub-committee for the Kinship Ties of Creativity International Arts Therapy Conference held in Sydney in 2013.
Romny was involved in a pilot study working with adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) in conjunction with Macquarie University, and she facilitated a corporate team-building arts therapy event with North Sydney Cancer Council’s management and staff.
