Elena Wang

Elena, raised in Australia, made her theatrical debut at age 21 as Ivy in Beauty World (2008) in Singapore. She was then awarded Breakout Star of the Year at the 2008 ELLE Awards. Other roles include Snow White in Snow White (2008) and Azira in Sleepless Town (2009) after having taken over from US pop sensation Debbie Gibson.

After an extensive career in Singapore as a triple threat, she made her debut in London performing in West End's The King and I (2009) staged at the Royal Albert Hall starring Maria Friedman and Daniel Dae Kim.

She has recently finished her MFA in Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy after having relocated to Los Angeles. During that time she starred in the short Schenectady, New York (2010) directed by Nick DeRuve. The film was part of the Official Selection for the New York City International Film Festival.

More recently, Elena served as understudy to Tony-award winner Lea Salonga for the Broadway run of Allegiance (2015–16), playing the lead role of Kei Kimura.
