On 9 October, LASALLE College of the Arts is set to kick off its 35th Convocation ceremony, where 821 graduands from the class of 2021 will be presented with their diplomas and degrees.
Among them are Nur Wahidah Binte Mohamed Ismail, who will graduate with a BA(Hons) Fashion Media and Industries, and Noor Hafizan Bin Noor Halim, a graduand from the BA(Hons) Interior Design programme. In this interview with Berita Mediacorp, Wahidah and Hafizan share more about their graduation projects. COCOK!, by Wahidah, is a fashion publication that investigates hijabi women's lived experiences in Singapore’s secular society, while Hafizan's Ascend—The Future of Mosque visualises the design of mosques in the year 2100.
