BA(Hons) Film alumna Vivienne Chong nearly went overseas to further her studies after graduating from Nanyang Technological University with a major in mass media management. A chance encounter with a film director at an internship changed her life.
"The director asked me at the time, ‘why not try to enrol in LASALLE College of the Arts?’ Following his advice, I searched for some information and submitted the application form."
At LASALLE, Vivienne discovered the rich world of film production and fell in love with photography and lighting design. Today, she is a freelance lighting assistant, and hopes to inspire more women to join this male-dominated field in future.
