At LASALLE College of the Arts' 33rd Convocation on 30 August 2019, Mr S Iswaran, Minister for Communications and Information, announced the launch of David Puttnam's ProducersLab.
A collaboration between LASALLE and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), ProducersLab will tap on LASALLE's capability building and industry expertise to equip media professionals in Singapore with production skills that will take them to the international stage. Up to 12 participants in the pilot run will receive mentorship from Lord David Puttnam and grow professionally through intensive workshops and one-on-one training with international and regional experts.
ProducersLab is one of a suite of new training programmes in the media sector, launched by IMDA to benefit media graduates and professionals.
