At LASALLE's 32nd Convocation ceremony, the prestigious McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts was presented to Michelle Ler, who graduated top of her cohort in the BA(Hons) Musical Theatre Programme.
While still a student at LASALLE, Michelle was already performing as a professional musician on productions such as The Great Wall. It was also during her time at the College that she was handpicked by a guest Artist in Residence to be the Assistant Musical Director for Grease: The Arena Experience in 2019.
In this article, Michelle shares more about her personal journey in transitioning into an education in the arts, and the challenges she faced in getting to where she is today.
