After a successful year of partnership, LASALLE College of the Arts and The Connoisseur Concerto (tcc) brought back Art Moves II, a year-long exhibition for alumni to showcase and sell works outside of galleries and art fairs.
For 2016, LASALLE and tcc have expanded the scope of the project – introducing a new three-year initiative, tcc-LASALLE Artist-Curator Alumni Award – to boost employability for young creatives who aspire to become artist-curators.
Curated by Dr S. Chandrasekaran, Head, McNally School of Fine Arts, the 2016 edition of the exhibition showcased over 50 works by 13 recent BA(Hons) Fine Arts graduates, spanning prints, photographs, ceramics and installations. Featured across five tcc cafés in the heart of the city, the exhibition ran from 9 December 2016 to 30 November 2017.
