Walking, A Multidisciplinary Poem is a collaboration and devised showing directed by the School of Contemporary Music artist in residence Angélique Cormier. It features students from the Diploma in Audio Production, Diploma in Theatre Production and Management, BA(Hons) Music, Diploma in Dance, BA(Hons) Fine Arts and MA Creative Writing programmes.

Angélique Cormier (France), is a classically trained pianist, multidisciplinary artist, show designer, soundpainter, composer, educator and origami designer. She has been the founder and Artistic Director of the Tours Soundpainting Orchestra in France since 2005. She has recently been an artist in residence at the Lycee Français in New York and has presented performances with her company in Brooklyn in 2019. Angélique creates shows mixing disciplines, that can be either for solo or large groups, performed on stage and in site-specific and public spaces, in France and abroad. Angélique’s folded paper creations will be touring with an all women collective to the University of Geneva (Switzerland) for a week of performances for International Women’s Day in March 2020. She is also co-writing and co-directing an opera about Energy Transition to be premiered in 2021.
