Four students from LASALLE’s McNally School of Fine Arts worked with Spanish artist Mark Rios on a new mural at Amoy Street, commissioned by an affiliate of Clifton Partners, that blends Singaporean and Western iconography.
Dr Cissie Fu, Head, McNally School of Fine Arts, shared: “The infusion of various Singaporean elements, such as Spanish artist Salvador Dali eating kaya toast, speaks to how the best street art always contains humour. There’s something a little bit subversive, so you need to look at it, think about it and reflect on it.”
