The eighth edition of popular public art festival ARTWALK returns in 2022 with the theme of Looking Back, Going Forward. For the first time, ARTWALK will be expanding to Katong-Joo Chiat, while continuing to bring to life the rich culture and stories of Little India through multidisciplinary art programmes.
In this episode of Indian Beat, LASALLE BA(Hons) Arts Management student Mruthika Priya Raman, part of the ARTWALK organising committee, gives us an introduction to this year’s edition and what visitors can expect. We also hear from some of the performing artists lined up for ARTWALK 2022, who share more about the inspiration behind their work.
