This exhibition presents printmaking from the McNally School of Fine Arts alongside works made by students and members of the public during workshops conducted in May and June 2018.

Artist and programme leader of LASALLE’s Diploma in Fine Arts, Lim Bee Ling, conceived You Don’t Need 100 Editions as a platform for sharing ideas and techniques of printmaking within LASALLE and the wider community. In Praxis Space, works by Lim and LASALLE alumni show their recent experiments with various methods of printmaking, such as woodcut, silkscreen and etching.

Project Space presents cyanotype prints by senior citizens, MOE education and career guidance counsellors and students which explore the theme of memories. The prints were developed during workshops conducted by the education outreach team from STPI – Creative Workshop & Gallery in LASALLE’s printmaking workshop. Woodblocks and materials used during workshops conducted by Terry McKenna, a printmaker specialising in the Japanese art of mokuhanga (woodblock printing), are also displayed next to woodblock prints by LASALLE students.

Cyanotype workshops supported by STPI Creative Workshop & Gallery.
