The LASALLE Show, TheatreThe graduating cohort of Diploma in Performance present Jim Cartwright's Road, a searing observation of class struggle and the human will to endure. Set in a poverty stricken area of Northern England in the mid 1980s, the people, their circumstances, challenges, hopes and sacrifices are familiar around the globe as a search for meaning and purpose in an unforgiving world. Adapted by Verena Tay, the play is directed by Hamish Pritchard.
