The rogue rojak ensemble du jour are back for another smashing event of soundpainted performance art by the Head of the School of Contemporary Music, Dr Timothy O’Dwyer. Soundpainting is the multidisciplinary sign language for live composition created by Walter Thompson. Consisting of over 1,000 combinations of hand signals, soundpainting is a dynamic method of creating spontaneously composed works that juxtapose styles and disciplines for small or large groups of musicians, actors, dancers and visual artists. The Kampong Arkestra is an expressive, colourful and exciting ensemble hand-picked by Timothy and made up of the crème de la crème of experimental performers in Singapore.

The Lunchtime Concert Series aims to provide a platform for leading creative musical figures from Singapore and overseas. With a focus on showcasing original work, the eclectic curation features a broad cross section of musical styles designed to expose LASALLE music students and the general public to both hidden and well-known talents.
