Lunchtime Concert Series: Alex Sipiagin

Alex Sipiagin will perform an exciting jazz repertoire at this Lunchtime Concert. As a soloist, Sipiagin has 11 recordings to his credit and has performed at jazz festivals around the world with the likes of Dave Holland, Michael Brecker and the Mingus groups. With his group, he has toured extensively in Europe, US, Japan, Asia and Russia. He also teaches at the Groningen Prince Claus Conservatory, Academy of Music, Basel, Switzerland, and holds a professorship at New York.
 
Organised by the School of Contemporary Music, the Lunchtime Concert Series aims to provide a platform for leading creative musical figures from Singapore and overseas. With a focus on showcasing original work, the eclectic curation introduces both hidden and well-known talents to a broad cross section of music students and the general public.
