DanceMeet the next generation of dance talents in Singapore at the annual da:ns festival. LASALLE College of the Arts’ BA(Hons) Dance and the Diploma in Dance programmes present a line-up of dynamic works that are a study in contrasts. The explosive Hip-Hop inspired movement languages of Olé Khamchanla (France/Laos) and Alumnus Sufri Juwahir are juxtaposed against the fluid work of Jacky Yu (Hong Kong) and a poignant duet by faculty staff and Artistic director of the showcase Susan Yeung.
Titled Cipher/Decipher, be spell-bound by the movements of young performers as they seek to challenge the boundaries of dance, both physically and conceptually.
