Picture Book Illustration I & II

Explore the world of children’s book illustration with award-winning Singaporean Kid Lit author and illustrator Quek Hong Shin. A structured course that involves lectures, hands-on activities, sharing and critique, the course aims to be a comprehensive introduction to the creative process of creating picture books. Learn basic drawing skills, composition, character design, storyboarding and illustration techniques using traditional and digital mediums. Hong Shin will also share his personal experience as an author/illustrator in Singapore.

If you are passionate about picture books or want to tell stories using illustrations, this is the course for you.
