Coming soon! Gouache Painting: An Introduction

Welcome to the world of gouache painting! With its unique characteristics, learn to create artistic artworks inspired by applying various painting techniques and art styles with multiple themes. Lessons include colour theory, composition techniques and idea development.

About the trainer
Sharina Azlan graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, with Distinction and a Diploma in Visual Arts (Painting), with High Distinction from LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts. She has been an adjunct lecturer with LASALLE’s McNally School of Fine Arts for the past 17 years and short courses trainer for the past 10 years. 

Sharina also taught customised art programmes in primary, secondary schools and tertiary institutions. Prior to this, she has commissioned art projects, collaborated on murals and participated in various group exhibitions. 

She believes that art and art-making is for everyone to learn and enjoy. She deeply feels that art is the most effective way to communicate across language and cultural barriers and encourages everyone to experiment with different art mediums.
