About the trainer
Judith Perera-Lee is a seasoned graphic designer turned passionate calligrapher. With over a decade of experience in the graphic design industry, her journey into the world of calligraphy began eight years ago where she swiftly fell in love with traditional scripts like Spencerian and Italics.
Judith's dedication to honing her craft has led her to workshops with esteemed calligraphers, including master penman Michael Sull and John Stevens. In 2021, she was granted a prestigious scholarship from the Art of Letters Mentoring Initiative which provided her with an eight month mentorship under the guidance of Argentinian calligrapher Marina Soria. This culminated in an online art exhibition.
She has participated in exhibitions held at prestigious venues such as Mulan Gallery and Selegie Arts Centre, showcasing the beauty and skill of her artistry. She continues to be an inspiring presence in the calligraphy community, continuously pushing the boundaries of her craft.
