Executive/Senior Executive (Student Services)
The Division of Student Administration is seeking a highly driven individual with a passion for the arts and arts education to join us as Executive/Senior Executive to organise Convocation and conduct student life activities. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Student Services.
This role is employed directly by the University of the Arts Singapore Limited.
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in conceptualising, planning and executing Convocation in collaboration with other divisions.
- Work with the line manager to strategise and create opportunities and services that support students and their development, creating a positive and enriching student life.
- Develop, organise and conduct student activities such as student leadership and skills development programmes as well as corporate social responsibility activities.
- Assist and support key institutional and student life activities, including Orientation, and student activities.
- Assist in community projects, student competitions and student promotions with industry partners, faculties and students.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Use of multiple channels to maintain communication, disseminate information and receive feedback from students.
- Maintain and ensure information accuracy in the Student Learning Portal.
- Carry out and manage administrative processes such as preparing activities proposal and managing procurement (if any).
- Coordinate student volunteers for social media takeovers during institutional events.
- Manage the production of collateral such as the Orientation guide and care card, and provide editorial content for events and activities for publicity on the College’s owned platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an established university with at least three years of administrative experience within a tertiary education environment. Candidates without relevant working experience or possess a polytechnic diploma with at least five years of experience may apply and will be considered for the Executive position.
- Good interpersonal, organisational, analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to engage and communicate well with students at tertiary level.
- Resourceful, meticulous, and proactive with strong multitasking and follow-through skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work independently under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment, both within the team and with the various College stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Ability to embrace a student-centric service culture.
- Experience in developing and organising student life activities will be an advantage.
