Damaris’ career as an English teacher took her to distant corners of the world, from Spain to South America, UK to Australia, and more recently arriving back in Singapore. She has worked for different organisations, including International House (Spain), British Council (Ecuador and Singapore), University of Sydney and Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) and University of Bath (UK).

Over the years, she has worked in a variety of settings, from the corporate (Prudential, UK) to the academic world. More recently, she was involved as an examiner for internationally recognised English proficiency exams. She remains passionate about education and helping others to instil their own thirst for exploration.
