Lianhe Zaobao: National University Hospital and LASALLE College of the Arts collaborate to innovatively optimise healthcare details and adopt green practices
The National University Hospital and LASALLE College of the Arts have established a first-of-its-kind Sustainable Medicine Design Lab, bringing together clinicians, designers and students to develop design interventions for more sustainable healthcare systems.
From the inaugural lab, six projects by final-year students from the BA (Hons) Design for Social Futures programmes were developed through a year of immersive research, fieldwork and ethnography with diverse stakeholders. In this article, Lianhe Zaobao finds out more about the student projects that are grounded in real clinical environments.
