Berita Harian: Left a teaching career to explore ways to help Malay seniors through music therapy
Bakti Khair, who is graduating from LASALLE’s MA Music Therapy programme, is a former music educator who wanted to utilise music in a more meaningful way to help those in need.
For his final year thesis project, Bakti researched the perceptions of Malay/Muslim seniors in Singapore towards music, with the aim of helping music therapists better understand how to support senior patients from the community.
