Ceramics Conversations I with Daisy Toh and Dr Suriani Suratman

In this conversation, Singaporean ceramicists Daisy Toh and Dr Suriani Suratman will discuss different approaches in using the two specific materials of porcelain and buff raku in their creative practice. 

They will speak about the versatile qualities of the raw material in making both functional and artistic works. Both ceramicists will also share about their recent artistic works and future creative directions.    

Daisy Toh has exhibited at Mulan Gallery, Affordable Art Fair, ION Art Gallery, Objectifs, as well as in Taiwan. Dr Suriani Suratman has exhibited at The Arts House, Mulan Gallery, iPreciation, and Temenggong Artists-In-Residence.

The session is moderated by School of Creative Industries lecturer, Dr Pow Jun Kai.
