Course details
This beginners course is designed to encourage the discovery of plants and floral as a subject matter. You will learn how to paint them beautifully and loosely with the magical medium of watercolour.

About the trainer
Rossalyn Tan
Rossalyn Tan graduated with a Master of Fine Art from RMIT University. She was a recipient of the Georgette Chen Arts Scholarship and Ericsson Scholarship.
She is currently a part-time lecturer teaching drawing in the McNally School of Fine Arts at LASALLE, she has also taught oil painting and 2D art. She was previously an adjunct arts educator at SOTA. Between 2023 and 2025, Rossalyn ran a private art appreciation course for art enthusiasts and aspiring art collectors, and conducted private folio preparation for students applying to international and local universities.

If you are interested and curious about arts and design, unleash your creativity in this workshop about zine-making. Through both design theory and crafty hands-on sessions, you will explore how to communicate ideas through printed matter. The core of this course focuses on the process of making a zine. Learning Photography Through Film: Intention, Exposure and Craft
This is a craft-based photography training course where film will be used as an experiential learning tool. This course is a chance for budding photographers to learn to slow down, build confidence in manual shooting, train their exposure judgment, develop strong composition habits and teach visual discipline. You are to bring 10 digital photos to the first class that you think represent your photography. This course does not teach darkroom development.
