In this engaging and hands-on gouache painting course, participants will learn the techniques and skills necessary to create stunning anime backgrounds inspired by the iconic Studio Ghibli films.
Throughout the course, students will gain an understanding of the key elements that make Ghibli backgrounds unique and explore various methods of using gouache paint to bring their own imaginative landscapes to life.

Shirly Koh
Shirly Koh is an experienced arts educator and curriculum creator for schools and corporations, with more than six years of experience. She works closely with both children and adults and seeks to foster a sense of love for the arts in all her classes. She is well-versed in various mediums from watercolour, acrylic, printmaking to sculpture making.
