Event details

LASALLE College of the Arts, in partnership with Trinity College Dublin’s Global Brain Health Institute, presented the inaugural Singapore satellite of Creative Brain Week in 2024. Innovating from the success of that event, Creative Brain Week Singapore 2026 takes place on and off LASALLE’s creativity-led and practice-driven campus to extend Creative Brain Week’s theme for this year—Thinking + Better + Together—from the intellectual arts hub of Singapore to the city-state’s premier cultural, medical, and social nodes.

In addition to the array of interactive exchanges, exercises, workshops and reflection circles programmed in Brother Joseph McNally Gallery, which carries the creative commitment of LASALLE’s founder for cognitive justice and poetic license, Creative Brain Week Singapore 2026 includes field trips to Singapore Art Museum, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and Bornfire Circus Festival for a movement of ideas and people that enacts neurokinaesthetics within Singapore as much as across Singapore and Ireland.

Spotlighting the neuroscience of creativity and the creativity of neuroscience, Creative Brain Week Singapore 2026 also includes a virtual encounter with US-based scholar and practitioner Anna Abraham, as well as introduces art commissions to the expansive transdisciplinary research repertoire of Creative Brain Week, with installations by McNally School of Fine Arts alumnae Liszu Tan and anGie seah (2025–2026 Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health) enlivening our gallery site with continuous sensory propositions for neurodiversity, neuroplasticity and memory regeneration.

Creative Brain Week Singapore 2026 is free and open to the public: we look forward to welcoming all ages and abilities from all walks of life to our creative brain community!

Organised by
