Hacking the Asian Waves is an immersive laboratory that transforms foresight into action, equipping participants to actively shape how Asian creativity travels, lands and evolves.
Moving beyond theory, we prototype the future through hands‑on missions: stress‑testing cultural strategies using VR simulations, predictive analytics and real‑time feedback loops.
Participants will hack emerging tools—not to replace tradition, but to amplify it. Can participatory virtual reality make visible the hybrid narratives of traveling Chinese motifs? Will the Korean Wave crash one day and how could we predict pro- and anti-Hallyu movements? Might we generate new, never‑before‑seen anime archetypes, and what new kinds of visual clash might they create? These are the challenges we tackle.
The Incubator is a collision space for artists, technologists and strategists. Together, we engineer cultural transmission systems that are resilient, adaptive and definitely original. Our goal is bold: ensure that Asian cultural waves no longer just ride global algorithms—they rewrite the algorithm itself.
