Event details

Dr Andrea Nanetti invites you to this research presentation of initial findings from an international project aimed at advancing the design of visual narratives for extended reality.

The presentation begins with an introduction to the research team and showcases a web-based interactive application that examines Extended Reality as an industry and reviews best practices.

After, employ three thinking methods to lay the groundwork for discussing how visual storytelling can enhance the development of extended reality films and benefit the creative industry as a whole.

Expect an opportunity for discussion at the end of the presentation.

Dr Andrea Nanetti is an award-winning and internationally recognised expert in digital humanities.

He is an academician of the Ambrosiana Academy in Milan and of the Venice Institute of Sciences and Humanities, and was conferred the knight’s insignia of the Order of the Star of Italy by the President of the Republic of Italy.

Currently, he is a Distinguished Professor of Digital Humanities at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts as a recipient of National Talent Programmes of the People’s Republic of China.
