Kori Michele is an artist based out of Brunswick, Maine, US, who believes in the transformative power of self-publishing and the sacred art of zine-making. They are a painter, cartoonist and writer with 14 years of experience publishing comics, and are the author of Tiny Book Science, a zine-making workbook published in 2024. Michele was a professor at the Center for Cartoon Studies from 2020 to 2025 teaching publishing and professional practices. Their work explores identity, art-making and kindness.
