ConcertRIF Sessions is an exclusive series of live recording shows happening as part of this year's Rock and Indie Festival (RIF).
In an age of polished production, RIF25: (un)filtered hopes to highlight the raw, unfiltered creativity that defines today's music scene. This year, RIF aims to amplify the voices of emerging artists who are pushing boundaries, crafting their own sounds and creating communities through their work.
Festival goers can expect an exciting lineup of artists—both established and upcoming—as well as a fully fledged Festival Village showcasing booths selling everything from crafts to clothes.
About the performers
Having just released her debut single 'Tapestry', Dhanishta and her band explore music that delves into introspection and raw vulnerability. Blending indie-folk with ambient pop elements, her music balances emotional depth with an ethereal, honest sound. Dhanishta creates an ode to listeners who value and honour music that resonates on a deeper, personal level.
Heema Izzati is an 18-year-old local singer-songwriter who is currently studying in the Diploma in Music programme at LASALLE. Heema’s originals feature soulful vocals paired with insightful lyrics and a backdrop of vibrant instrumentation. The blend of genres in her original music results in the band’s unique sound. Through this set, the band will take its listeners on a journey of self-discovery and the importance of staying true to themselves.
MURPHY is a singer-songwriter who has no idea how to write a happy song. Driven by his emotions, he has one goal and one goal only, to see his audience tear up listening to his feel-good songs and pop ballads.
