About the speakers

Xyn Foo is an independent arts and cultural worker, primarily a circus producer and director in Singapore. She has spearheaded numerous initiatives, including the successful orchestration of practitioner-led circus festivals, the design and implementation of intensive circus training programs, mentoring aspiring circus artists, fostering thriving circus interest groups.

Xyn has also produced community puppetry festivals, co-organised a series of thought-provoking film screenings under Film for Action Singapore and is currently co-producing circus programmes at Esplanade’s Flipside Festival.

With an MA in Arts and Cultural Leadership, Xyn aims to contribute further to the Singapore circus community, address the scarcity of literature on circus and contribute to formulating a comprehensive policy to support circus development in Singapore. She also advocates for the Sustainable Development Goals of biodiversity conservation, environmental sustainability, mental wellness and youth empowerment.

Grey Yeoh is an international arts and culture manager and producer, specialising in performing arts & visual arts. He is currently the Finance and Operations Manager at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art in Warrane/Sydney.
